We say ‘Thank you’ for NHS & Care Sector’s hard work with charity donations

8th June 2020

We are donating £100 to charity for each and every house we put on the market up until 31 July 2020. The donations are a thank you for the outstanding work done by those in the NHS and care sector during the Covid19 Pandemic.

Roger Parry said, “We have all been affected by Coronavirus and we have seen first hand how dedicated and skillful the front line doctors, nurses, care workers and support staff have been, often putting their own lives at risk. We wanted to show our appreciation for all their hard work. Vendors can nominate their preferred recipient charity at the time of the free valuation.”

Following the Westminster Government’s announcement that the housing market could re-open in England last month, house sales have soared with the property marketing facing a surge in demand.

Peter Daborn, Partner in Roger Parry & Partners’ Shrewsbury office, said, “The scale of the bounce back has taken us by surprise and has brought hope for the region’s economic recovery post-coronavirus. One Shropshire property has had 80 enquiries and has sold since the lockdown for well in excess of the guide price! We are seeing a real interest for village and country properties. With all the sales currently being agreed we are looking for more properties to bring to the market.”

Roger Parry & Partners’ offices in Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Minsterley are now open and the offices in Welshpool and Llanidloes are ready to re-open as soon as the Welsh Government gives the go ahead. Although the Welsh offices are currently closed, the firm is still able to market your property.

Those looking to sell their properties can rest assured that Roger Parry & Partners have strict procedures in place to keep house hunters and vendors safe. The firm is highly recommending an initial virtual viewing before a second appointment is arranged in person. Viewings will adhere to strict social distancing rules and occupants will be asked to vacate the property during viewings.
