How It Works

Properties are marketed across multiple platforms including the Roger Parry & Partners website and Rightmove. The auction portal is accessed via the Roger Parry & Partners website, where buyers can register, review property details including the “auction pack” and place bids. Properties have a bidding “window” in which buyers can make a bid to purchase a property. When the deadline is reached, and a property’s bidding window closes, an exchange automatically takes place between the property owner and the buyer who has the highest bid (providing they have met the property’s reserve price) and a completion is to take place within 56 days of this exchange. A buyer’s premium applies upon the deadline expiration, requiring the Purchaser to pay a 2%+VAT deposit, based on the purchase price. This deposit is to reserve the property during the Reservation Period and is paid in addition to the purchase price. (This is considered within calculations for Stamp Duty Land Tax/Land Transaction Tax).
