Rural Chartered Surveyor
Amy joined the Welshpool office in August 2017 as a full-time Graduate Trainee Rural Surveyor, having initially joined the firm in 2015 as a placement student. Following the successful completion of her placement year, she returned to Harper Adams University to complete her studies, graduating with a BSc (Hons) 2:1 degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management.
Raised on a sheep farm near Llandrindod Wells, Amy possesses a strong affinity with the agricultural sector. She attained professional accreditation in 2019, becoming a member of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV).
In her current role, Amy’s responsibilities encompass preparing and submitting grant applications and claims, providing expert advice on the Sustainable Farming Incentive (England) and Sustainable Farming Scheme (Wales), Control of Agricultural Pollution Regulations, managing landlord and tenant matters, conducting property valuations for a range of purposes, and facilitating agricultural property sales. She serves clients across mid-Wales and Shropshire, delivering comprehensive and locally informed rural surveying services.
Outside of her professional commitments, Amy remains actively involved in the family farming enterprise and enjoys walking with her two dogs, travelling, and socialising.
