A successful week in Oswestry’s Planning Department

30th June 2017

Richard Corbett and Becky Bowen in our Oswestry office are delighted that Powys County Council has, this week, approved six planning applications they submitted for livestock buildings on three separate dairy units in the county.

Richard Corbett, Partner at Roger Parry & Partners said, “It is great to see the confidence and investment returning to the dairy sector, and that the businesses continue to expand. Even though all three of the applications had to overcame several challenges before gaining planning permission it just goes to show, that if the site is right with justification and expertise, applications will be supported.

“All three of our dairy farming clients, EM Evans Priddbwll Mawr, AM Jones Wernllwyd and D and S Gethin Gaer Farm, put their faith in us to deliver a positive outcome in securing planning permission for them to be able to continue modernising their businesses to meet their customers’ needs.”

This is just three of the successful planning applications we have managed to secure recently for rural clients in Powys and Shropshire.
