15th September 2017

We are delighted to announce that Amy Thomas has recently joined our team as a Graduate Trainee Rural Surveyor in our Welshpool office.

Amy joined Roger Parry and Partners last month as a full time Graduate Trainee Rural Surveyor but she first started with the firm in 2015 when she was a placement student. After successfully completing her placement year with Roger Parry & Partners Amy returned to Harper Adams University for her final year and achieved a BSc Hons 2:1 degree in Rural Enterprise & Land Management.

Welcoming Amy, Tudor Watkins, Partner in the Welshpool Roger Parry & Partners office, said, “We are delighted that Amy has re-joined our team after successfully completing her degree. It is important as a profession that we help to train the next generation of chartered surveyors. Amy will be a great asset to our office in Welshpool with her farming background and her training at Harper Adams University.”

Amy, who is from Llanbister near Llandrindod Wells, is now working towards becoming a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and FAAV (Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers). Her work includes helping other members of Roger Parry & Partners staff with planning applications and valuations.

Commenting on her appointment Amy said, “I’m delighted to be have been given the opportunity to work with the experienced team at Roger Parry & Partners who are one of the most established teams of estate agents and chartered surveyors in Shropshire and mid Wales.”

As well as helping on the family farm, in her spare time Amy attends her local Young Farmers Club, enjoys cycling and travelling.
