How our Auction Works…

When you use our modern auction method, we market your property across multiple platforms, including the Roger Parry & Partners website and Rightmove. Buyers can access the auction portal directly through our website, where they can register, review property details, including the “auction pack,” and place bids.

Properties have a specific bidding window during which buyers can submit their bids. Once the bidding window closes, an exchange will then automatically occur between the property owner and the highest bidder, provided the reserve price is met. Completion of the sale takes place within 56 days of this exchange.

A buyer’s premium applies at the deadline’s expiration, requiring the purchaser to pay a 2% + VAT deposit based on the purchase price. This deposit reserves the property during the Reservation Period and is in addition to the purchase price. This amount is considered in the calculations for Stamp Duty Land Tax/Land Transaction Tax.
