Fiona Gethin

Joining the office in November 2018 Fiona’s role is to help assist Clare and Gail with their ongoing projects, as well as the day to day running of the Llanidloes office.

Living with her husband in the small hamlet Y Fan, just outside Llanidloes, but originally from East Grinstead in Sussex, Fiona and her husband have a commercial flock of about 250 breeding ewes, a small flock of pedigree Herdwicks, as well as cattle. Fiona moved to Australia for work at the age of 27, working on a 60,000 acre sheep station for 2 years. Upon her return to the UK she enrolled as a mature student to study Agriculture where Fiona gained a triple distinction, moving to Wales for work in 2015.

Outside of work and in between farming responsibilities, Fiona enjoys travelling and spending time with family.
